THE FOOD PURVEYOR GIVES THE GIFT OF EASE

March 24, 2016 BY

After two years of bundling boutique produce on her kitchen table, Nicole Newman finally opened the doors to The Food Purveyor in July 2014. NOW established in Geelong’s beautiful industrial food and beverage destination near Little Creatures Brewery, The Food Purveyor is a one-stop shop for local artisan produce from the region.
The Food Purveyor has a range of 16 standard hampers including simple treats of locally produced chocolates through to bottles of gorgeous sparkling wine.
The range of hampers for him, her, the children or a work colleague, are housed in copper fisherman’s baskets, seagrass baskets or recycled boxes, and offer a range of delicacies from the Geelong and surrounding regions passionate producers.
“The hamper range offers a perfect gift to anyone who appreciates quality. The hampers showcase local artisan producers from the Geelong district and support sustainability of the regions food bowl,” Ms Newman said.
Whether it’s a birthday gift, celebration, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, holiday accommodation hampers, or a corporate gift, the young Geelong-based business offers excellent options.
Representing more than 45 local artisan brands, The Food Purveyor demonstrates the diversity of produce in the Geelong region and helps small producers to reach customers through collective marketing.
With products otherwise sold at local farmers markets and specialised providores, The Food Purveyor showcases Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine products across the country.
Hampers are available online at thefoodpurveyor.com.au or by visiting 2/55-57 Little Fyans Street, Geelong.
